Request to use the ClaimYourCollege Counselor Plan

A caseload tool for tracking our seniors' FAFSA and scholarship deadlines, chosen specifically because it holds zero student data.

What it is
A caseload board for the counseling office: every senior's scholarship and FAFSA deadlines in one place, a per-student scholarship and state-aid matcher, FAFSA completion tracking, at-risk flags for students who have not filed or have a deadline closing with nothing submitted, a one-click calendar export, and printable reports stamped with our name and school.
Why it matters
Every grant, scholarship, and state and local aid program a student qualifies for is a moving target: deadlines shift, amounts change, programs end, and new ones open. No counselor carrying hundreds of seniors can track all of it and match it to each student by hand. The board keeps that map current, re-verified every week, and matches it to each student's state, interests, and background, so more of our seniors claim the money they qualify for and fewer miss out for lack of time. Filing the FAFSA alone can unlock a Pell Grant worth up to about $7,400 a year for a single student, which is the whole cost of a seat many times over.
What it costs
$899per counselor, per year
~$7.50per senior, for a 120-student caseload
$799 / $699per seat at 3+ / 10+ counselors
One payment. No subscription, no stored card, no auto-renewal. It runs the school year and simply ends.
What student data it touches
None. No student record is ever sent to or stored by the vendor. The board lives in the counselor's own browser on a district device. Because there is no student data on the vendor's side, there is no data-sharing agreement to negotiate, no vendor security assessment of student data, and no FERPA or COPPA exposure to sign off on. When the privacy officer asks where the student data goes, the answer is: nowhere.
What it replaces
The counselor-dashboard gap left when Going Merry, a widely used free scholarship tracker, shut down in March 2026. Unlike tools that hold student data on a server, this one cannot leak a student record and cannot take our caseload with it if the vendor ever winds down, because the data was always on our own device.
Terms and risk
Secure checkout by Stripe. One-time charge, 7-day refund. The vendor is Silk Creative Labs LLC, operating as ClaimYourCollege. The free version of the board needs no purchase, so the office can evaluate the full workflow before any seat is bought.
