Employee benefit · parents of high school students

Help the parents on your staff pay for college with their eyes open.

ClaimYourCollege puts every FAFSA and state aid deadline a family faces on one runway, shows what each college will really cost after grants, and finds the scholarships their student actually fits. You offer it as a benefit. We never see their children's information.

We don't sell anything to your employees. No products, no referrals, no data collected on their kids.

What an employee gets

The paid Family Plan, the same one families buy on our site.

Everything below is live in the product today. You can open the free version yourself at claimyourcollege.com before we talk.

01

Every deadline on one runway

FAFSA, state aid and scholarship deadlines that apply to their student, sorted by what to do next, with the whole list exportable to their calendar.

02

An aid estimate from their own numbers

A family enters its figures and sees an estimate of the aid picture before filing. The numbers stay on their device.

03

What each college really costs

The price after grants for every college on their list, side by side, instead of the sticker price.

04

Scholarships their student fits

Matched from a library covering all 50 states and the District of Columbia, re-checked against official sources every week.

05

Aid offers read side by side

Each college's offer is broken into money the family keeps and money they would have to earn or repay, with a draft appeal letter the family can send the college.

06

Essay coaching that never writes for them

Prompts and structure that help a student write their own essay. The tool will not write it for them.

How rollout works

A head count, one invoice and one code for your staff.

No integration project and no single sign-on setup. We handle each employer personally.

01

Sign a one-page order form

Tell us your head count, not names. You sign a one-page order form and we invoice your company directly.

No employee data changes hands.
02

We send you one access code

Share it through your benefits portal or an HR email, the way you share any other benefit. It is capped at your head count and we can switch it off at any time.

Access runs to 30 June, the end of the school year.
03

Employees redeem it themselves

An employee enters the code at claimyourcollege.com/employee-access/, gets their own Family Plan key and pastes it into the app. No account and no email address needed.

Questions benefits teams ask

Before you take it to your committee.

Is this financial advice?

No. It is educational information and a planning aid, and our terms say so. It does not recommend or sell any financial product. We don't sell anything to your employees, and nobody pays us to point them anywhere.

What do you need from us?

A head count, a billing contact and a signed one-page order form. No employee list, no file feed and no single sign-on project.

Can you tell us which employees use it?

No. You get counts only: how many keys your code has issued and how many devices have turned them on. We never learn who redeemed a key, and we hold nothing about their children.

Where does a family's information live?

In the browser on their own device. If they turn on sync, an encrypted copy goes to their own Google Drive, and we cannot read it.

When can employees start?

The day you share the code. There is no payroll election, so it does not have to wait for open enrollment. Access runs to 30 June, the end of the school year.

How are we billed?

By invoice to your company, payable by card or bank transfer, net 30. There is no card on file and no automatic renewal. If a benefits broker introduced us, their fee comes out of our price and is disclosed on the order form. It is never added to it.

Is the benefit taxable to employees?

That is for you and your benefits or tax adviser to decide, and we don't give tax advice. Two things your adviser may find useful. Tax-free educational assistance under Section 127 covers an employee's own education, not their children's, so it usually does not apply here. And the IRS has said that informational work-life referral services employers provide are a de minimis fringe benefit (IRS Fact Sheet 2024-13), which your adviser may want to compare this with. We report counts only, never names, and we will state the retail price of the license in writing on request.

Can we try it first?

Yes. The free version is open to anyone at claimyourcollege.com with no account, and on a call we will show you the full plan an employee would get.
