Get The Deadlines

Your email is all it takes. We send one confirm link first; nothing else arrives until you press it.

A mailing list, not an account. It holds your email and nothing else: no tracking pixels, never sold, and never connected to anything a student enters in the guide. One-click unsubscribe on every email. What you get · Past issues

What you get

  • One email a month, near the 1st: every federal, state and major scholarship deadline in the next 45 days, what opens soon, and the FAFSA's status.
  • A short "what to do this month" in plain English, linked to the guide that explains each step.
  • A reminder a week before the big ones: state and federal grant deadlines and major full-ride programs.
  • Only dates we can source. Every date comes from an official program or agency site. If a month is quiet, the email is short.

The privacy promise

  • No tracking pixels. Opening an email tells us nothing. Links are plain links, and we do not count opens or clicks.
  • Unsubscribe in one click, from the link in every email or your mail app's own Unsubscribe button.
  • Your email is used for nothing else. Not sold, not shared, not used for ads, and never connected to anything your student enters in the free guide.
  • Confirmed sign-up only. We send one email with a confirm button. Until you press it, you get nothing else.

Common questions

What exactly will I get?

One email a month, sent near the start of the month, with the aid deadlines coming up in the next 45 days, what opens soon, the FAFSA's status, and a short list of what to do. On top of that, a short reminder about a week before the big ones: state and federal grant deadlines and major full-ride programs. Nothing else.

What do you track?

Nothing. The emails carry no tracking pixel, the links are plain links with nothing added to them, and we do not record opens or clicks. We keep your email address, which page you signed up on (and your state, if you signed up on a state page), when you confirmed, and whether you have unsubscribed. That is all.

Is this connected to my student's plan?

No. The free guide stores your student's plan on your own device and never sends it to us. This list holds an email address and nothing else, and the two are never linked.

Why do I have to confirm?

So nobody can sign someone else up, and so the list only holds people who asked. After you sign up we send one email with a confirm button. Until you press it, you get nothing else from us.

How do I stop it?

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and most mail apps show an Unsubscribe button at the top that works in one click. Either way you are off the list at once.
